I HAVE DOWNLOADED STARVIEW 300 SOFTWARE BUT IT HAS GONE INTO A ZIPPED FOLDER HOW DO I GET INTO THE ZIPPED FOLDER I'M NEW AT THIS GAME

 

bigrig: Just download it again. Easiest way is to pop in ur software disk and drop the new 3.00 into that. And when u have your null cable in. press download from your pc.
By the way dont use caps when posting. Its a forum NoNo.

i have clone boxes with a different chip in and i have flashed 12 including my own and they are running with no problems so i guess its what chip you have in dont ask me what chip is in mine aint got a clue

 

Great . But for anyone not sure about their box being genuine or clone I would leave it alone until we get nore info.Messing around with them could cause them to die

 

I checked the photos of the back of the box and the remotes and the boxes I have appear to be originals, scarts on the left etc. Is there any other way to be 100% or is this enough to be sure?

 

can someone please help me i have had my box flashed to version 3.0 and had to put the codes in on wednesday they went off again onthurs but i cant get it to auto update how do i do this has anyone got an idiots guide to starview updating

 

Try a factory reset. If this dosn't work I think u will have to re flash.

 

I updated my boxes with 300eE last night and all seems to be working fine... I'll leave them on over the weekend and see if anything happens re freezing.

 

TheTurk: It looks like u have a genuine bowbut nobody is 100% sure at this point in time. The new 3.00v seems to be ok on all boxes at the moment but could only be just for the moment , so just keep watching the forum for any updates.

Anyway heard the other day that n** were sending 3 "spikes" over the coming weeks, the first two which could be got over with new codes and the last might need a bit more, possibly software update or chip in box.Dont know how true it is, anyone know more?
Also heard there is now a box for chorus digital out which is going for 400 euro.anyone heard of this

 

you do now the v300ee file is for orignal boxes only, if you have a fake/clone receiver guys do not moan like ****** when the receivers become dead, like the firmware v260ee did

BE CAREFUL when you update with the new starview firmwares from now on, as there are only going to work on there orginal recievers

 

Tasfir, yep I checked with the photos posted to see if I had a clone or original and if these are right I have an original.
