Anyone know the N*L codes for Ireland??

 

kpars1 , when ya listing the codes, can ya put em so that you show both lines, it just makes it clearer incase for example, a dumb nutt alters the first line by mistake or there box is nutty and randomly changes itself or, someone presses the set default key button

I gotta ask again. Where do you guys get these codes from, perhaps if the rest of us knew we could get them ourselves and stop the multi posting on the site.

 

im sure they can be read. if they're posted alot this thread will be closed by ddp - well its what tezzer and fergusrb said.

you can post them again if you want.

 

If you update to version 300 firmware the keys will autoupdate. then you go into nagravision menu and you can read the new codes from there.

 

I get them from a working box if its already updated them then there there for the taking!

Have to say thanks and good on ya for taking the time to check out the codes for those of us who don't have the 300 update...although I really should do it. I wont ask how it's done as I'm sure it's on the site already, I will search until I get the "downloading 300 for starview for dummies thread"... Thanks for all your help on behalf of all the others...keep up the good work you legend!

but im legging it, i thinks me legs are robotic!

 

the main worry of flashing the v3 software is that peeple dont really know if their box is genuine or a clone.

For example mines has a genuine remote and the box mine came in has the colour of the genuine - pinkish

but the back of the box appears to be a fake - according to the pictures posted earlier.

so its risky to flash v3 if you dont know for sure whether it is real or a clone as you may end up frazzling your box. And thats even more hassle then manual updating of codes.

Nearly a year ago i asked a mate to get me a eurobox like he had, but he turned up with a starview instead.

Its a smaller original one and its still working and I got it before the clones were even thought of. No one else had one and there was nothin on any forums of even siftware.

It has worked on all the firmware starting with 251, 254, 255, 257, 258.l 259 and the real 260 and the 300 no problem it did not die.

And i have checked my processer and its a 81mhz one in it. so anyone who is telling yu otherwise that all small starviews have the slower processor is either genuinley mistaken or lying deliberately for whatever reason i know not. they may help peolle and thats good but that is just not true. mine is a real one from the start andit is definitely 81mhz. my frien has a clone smaller one but his has a different chip.

you can believe what u like but thats what i have got and there were no starview forums then. i accidently factory reset took me 3 weeks to find out how to switch the bloody emu on no bugger knew! didnt even know therer was a hidden menu at the time.

 

I agree..Iam in 2 minds weather to flash to v3 or not..What makes it worse i have all the cables & software to do this..And i am a novice!!
