ive had to manually imput codes for c+w(london) for the last 3 days as they keep zapping it.
but everyday you guys have the info i need

Oh bye he way i was just going over some of the pages and what did i find the same person who released the 260 file released this supposed v3.00 for the clones also he has someone advertising on this site for people to buy off him i have asked the mod to remove the posting just go back to about page 117 and look from there he has some nerve

 

does this mean that we should not use the clone software and use the ordinary????

interesting! i havent been keeping up today, in the middle of a bbq. i'll have a proper read thru later. oh by the way, just thought i'd let everyone know - ive been banned off a site (either satfiles or satdownloads - cant remember) for aparently lying!! theyre hosting a competition and the winner (loser) gets a refurbished starview AKA THE BOX!! i left a message sayin that the box is just a starview in new clothes then i got banned!! I wonder why!!

 

it means stay away from the clone safe and only use the original 3.00 file if your 100% sure youve got a genuine starview. unless you wanna volunteer to be a guinnea pig

had my starview about a week, just when all the problems started.
Eventually i decided to flash to v3 and thankfully it all worked and auto updated today and yesterday.

Get home from work today to enjoy it and guess what. The F*$£ing remotes knackered.

I wish I never bought one of these things, If it's not one thing its another.

first question use the original v3.00 file only

it had to be satfiles you where bared from as satkings still sell and stand over there starview boxes

I am sure there are people out there on this site that have dead boxes who would give you the remote as they will have no further use for it you may ask and see will you get any takers

 

I am getting fed up with this so if this thread is still going later about 10pm I will fizz my box with the original version 3 software it looks like a clone from the back but I think my remote is not the clone type.
I will do it later and post the results if no one beats me to it.
Can I get original version 3 software from this forum?

Yes Page 113 the software is there and all the other stuff you need is on pages from 98 to now

There has been a few people put v3.00 on none have gone down at the moment cross your fingers

 

Clone friendly V300( MODIFIED) firmware only use on clone starview as this will kill original starview
