    Also i looked at the manual i got with these boxes and this is what i found out

    Main processor is a Sti 5518 ST20 32 bit

    Cpu clock speed is 81Mhz

    flash memory is 2 Mbyte

    sdram 8 Mbyte

    EEPROM 32 bit

    can anyone make sense of this

    the codes are posted on here! installing toolbars isnt neccessary. 99% of them are adware / spyware

    the software is on page 125 any other info you need look at page 98 onwards

    flash memory is the ROM chip where you find the firmware files we flash to the box

    sdram is just RAM like what we have in pc's

    EEPROM is the flash memory - ROM chip

    this guy dooby2doo is part of the other team you all know who i am refering to there is also someone else on here doing the same posting web page address for you to click on to make you all more confused also do not go to any site where you have to download a toolbar in order to get codes these sites are parasites waiting to attack your computer so beware all codes will be available should they change

    A newbie question from me but is it possible to enable subtitles on starview boxes and how so? i see nothing on the remote which will let me...and furthermore what does the pause button do? I pushed it once and it paused the image and not the audio so i am a bit confused with that.

    the pause button seems useless to me - its kinda like the eject button on DVD players,

    if the boxes are supposed to be 60/65Mhz how come it says 81Mhz in the book if they are supposed to be clone

    Thanks for that it just the newbies will start asking more questions about that software what is the difference between that one and the other one and we will be covering old ground again hope you understand

    The pause button is a novelty on the first Starview's it doesnt have the capability to freeze audio and images as it has nowhere to back it up unlike sky+ the new starview PVR however has HD's in them so it can store programmes, also with subtitles the new starview called " the box " has the subtitle facility, hope this helps

    has anyone used the optical out to connect to a 5.1 reciever?? just want to know if it works. Also, does anyone know what the analogue antenna input is for?? ive plugged an aerial into it & re-scanned channels but nothing happened.

    All the boxes i have the made in Korea on them but look exactly like a clone do the other ones have something else on the back of the other ones like made in china or what
