Starview Expert-**no email posting or BANNED**

Hi all. Have a starview box upstairs - currently with vm but on my starview have had to set up as ex C and W. My vm pace box has three lights (next to where you see what channel on) - the middle light seems to flash intermittently - also unable to access virgin central. Will this be due to the splitter to the starview and signal strength? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post - would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Regards as ever. Px

 

hi when using a splitter does it effect the internet speed....and can someone tell me which channels are misnamed so i knw wiether to delete or leave

 

a splitter will not afect internet speed ..
theres to many chanels to name

if it works keep it if it dont bin it

 

I have bought a star view box and can only watch channels that do not have the "$" sign beside them. Is there a setting that can be changed to allow me to use these chanels.

 

you need to turn the key emulator on- to do this press menu then 1570 scroll down to key emu- turn it on,then xit back to a scrambled channel,let the channel update for about 30 secs then you will be able to view all channels

has the starviews all gone of ..
257e gone of and wont work with 260 either
m/boro area

 

tezzer,just checked mine i am on 257 and in manchester and mine is ok.

i have just phoned 4 mates and all have gone of round this area ,,
unless its just down at vm end and it might come back on ,,, fingers crossed

 

hey! I have using my starview box since 4 months and today morning, it just went off. Usually I can recover all channels but its different this time. I live in leicester, Has anyone got any sugestions?

 

mine has also gone off in m/boro .

just wait a while for a new update to be reliesed , it wont be long

 

mines gone off aswell. i was using 257, i flashed 259 but that aint working either.
