s/w needs changing to 259 as well as new keys. workeed for me

I have a starveiw receiver,was working fine,until this morning,now,all i get is the local channel,s..1,2,itv 4and 5,but when i select the cable channel,s,its saying data,uploading getting to 100%,then starting again,please can some1 tell me what,s happened and how to get it back againg..please

Pure NTHELL Area's only..

Entering keys manualy works fine.
To put keys in manually do as follows.
press menu
press 1570. this takes you into secret menu
Hit ok on nagravision
and change both keys 0, and key 1

KEY 0 = D5 68 00 5A 29 36 51 D1 When entered hit ok (To store)
KEY 1 = E4 87 54 DF 4D 01 EC BA again hit ok to store

If done full factory scan dont forget to turn on EMU
>> DO NOT PRESS SET DEFAULT KEY OR WILL RESET ABOVE <<

Now exit and all channels ok

 

Hey, my box has gone down too. West Midlands area on teleeeeeweeest. Was working fine this morning up until noonish.

- Tried manual scan, which didnt work.
- Then I restored factory settings (at the expense of losing my channel list). That didnt work either!

I've just spent a good 2 hours setting up my channel list again with channels that dont work!

I should have just come on here first and see if anyone else was havin the same problem! LOL

Hope someone can provide a solution quickly.

manual key change worked fine and now no channels sticking.anyone have any idea why the box needed to have these changes made?

 

Forgot to mention I also tried the autoroll key codes above and they dont work for my provider.

Autoroll key change only works for N** subscribers. i am on t***west

 

Ive tryed putting in the key, but the key is for ntl network mine is TW, does any kind person have a roll over fix for Tw ?

 

Hi could someone please explain how you change the keys?

I have accessed the secret menu, entered the Nagravision section and found the keys, but how exactly do you then change them?

I just tried the keys mentioned above and all the channels are back now. Thanks TEZZER007, appreciate your help man.

 

hi you have colour codes on the remote buttons for the letters , and if you press audio button that wil give you letter a and press pause for letter b, then just type numbers on the remote for the digits. and remember to click ok and save. This rollover key only works for Ntl areas not TW area. mine went down this morning in the burnley area. need to get a tw key before the wifes hangs me heh.

 

lol, just keep an eye out on this site, and I'm sure some one will post another key or somthing else for the TW part.

in middle of remote there 4 buttons, red, green, yellow, and blue these will give you letters, c,d,e,f

 

Its pretty easy entering/changing the keys... It even tell s you at the bottom which button on the remote corresponds to the correct letter.

On the starview remote:

Pause button = Letter A
Audio button(next to pause!) = B
Red(sub) button = C
Green(next to Red!) = D
Yellow = E
Blue = F

To enter numbers use the numbers on the remote 0-9.
To move left or right use the navigation buttons left and right.
To confirm press ok.

guys the keys are just a temp fix for all erea's , we will need a firmware update when it comesout, to carry on watching

 

sorry can this be done on ex c&w as im sure thats what im on iv done key code on that but still no joy (not sure if im even doing it right )lol
