What firmware have you put on the box, is it the The Box UK Fix 031208 that you have used, and did you follow the correct procedure.
Have you downloaded the UK Fix From Eamo's FTA Library, with the full service pack, you need to know what firmware you have on the box it appears in your case to be 4.51 - so have you folowed the procedure as outlined here. Download the The Box UK Fix 031208 and drag them all out (3) bins individually on to your desktop, then you can easily pick them up in the bin box when pressing BIN BUTTON, 4.54 first App File Only box checked, then The LOGO file Background Data File box checked, and then the 8.02 fix bin file App File Only checked again, take your time and think about it, and wait for the pop up box DOWNLOAD COMPLETE to appear, each time before removing or doing anything else, it seems a long time, but be patient. ********************************************************************* Even better, there is now an easier way to update the Starview 2 it is The Box UK Fix Ver 4.55 051208 just use that, it is in Eamos FTA Library as of today, courtesy of scOuser.
I am hoping someone can help me out. I have upgraded the firmware from 4.51 to 8.02 as set out above. This has worked - I now get all channels again!!!! However, I am unable to sort out the channel order correctly - normally I would just organise the various channels into sub-categories under Favourties, thn go into each 'Favourite' and to rearrange channel order. But when I go into each favourite to rearrange, it just keeps listing ALL channels, not the sub category. Having had the box for a long time, this is a new one on me! Also, the screen ratio is not adjusting. I keep selecting 16:9, then when the screen comes back on it's all stretched, so I do what I normally do and turn the unit off then omn again with the switch at the back but this does not sort it out - still all stretched! Anyone got any ideas?
