The image shows the max temps and fan speed, I just picked the highest of the four temps since I didn't know what was what. I thought those results were pretty good since I couldn't achieve that with my nvidia card, but it that's only okish I'd love to have a good one lol.

DXR88, the catalinas were flying boats. the closes equivalent to an a10 for the allies would have been the RAF typhoons & tempests. the german equivalent would have been the tankbuster stuka mounting 2-37mm cannons.

they where flying boats with enough fire power to sink a Civilian Class Ship. i'm pretty sure they wouldn't have a problem with flattening enemy Armour.

i think you are talking about british coastal command's Short Sunderland flying boats refered to the german uboat crews as flying porcupines because of all the guns she carried.

Last match we played was 10 minutes ago with us coming in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place in order. Me in first :D:D:D

my BC2 name is Capt.Biggs. if you ever see me run, run far far away.

Capt.Biggs is the aliases i use for all my FPS multi-player profiles.

been using it since 1942, Battlefield that is.

Black Ops I think he means. Personally found it disappointing. The graphics are worse than WaW and the sound design is bleh. The multi is just more MW2 ie glitchy, limited, and mediocre. The story is good though.

Oh yeah it's a whole new ballgame when all 4 squadmates are in a group chat working out the strategy. We were dominating :)

Blast from the past this one. Graphics cards of the age that they don't even have drivers for Windows 7 popping up with a respectable M30 at 1280x1024.

Looks like my 260 can handle it at a respectable level. Is the game any good? I've never played any call of duty...

good depends on your preferance in a game.

Yeah COD:BO is not very demanding, but it's also not very good looking. Nice textures, but that's about it.
While BO goes some way to reverting the abysmal multiplayer experience of MW2, it is basically just COD4, but with a different setting.
Much like any other Activision franchise (Blizzard excluding) this is the same game, released every year, with minor content tweaks. Yet people are still in love with it.

I'm sceptical of that techspot article. There is a ridiculous negative skew of the results for the HD6800 series not mirrored in other tests. There is also far more nvidia bias than usually shows in Call of Duty benchmarks.

Honestly, if they were to release a new "Legend of zelda: Ocarina of time" with everything rearranged and all new storyline, I'd be all over it. Much like poor movie sequels, I can't get enough LOL! Technology/code doesn't always need to advance for me to be all over it ;) I love particular 2 dimensional games :p

Is true, but if you're going to release the same game without any change to the way it plays, at least upgrade the engine/graphics :p

I've pretty much accepted Nvidia bias when reading reviews, and what not.

Did you receive that PM? Just wanna be sure there wasn't some screw up...

Ah, just read it. Thanks for the offer, but it turns out Coolermaster have a european parts shop based in the Netherlands, where I was able to buy another set for €9.50 delivered (about $13). This must be why they ignore support emails asking for replacement parts.

On the other hand, they may just ignore support emails full stop. A large number of other companies do (Sapphire being one of them).

And yeah sadly nvidia bias in reviews is very common, for several reasons
1: Release of new nvidia cards to reviewers for free testing is conditional on nvidia's official benchmark suite being in the review
2: nvidia have bribed several review sites out there
3: there is an increasing trend of games being actually nvidia-biased due to part-funding or bribes during their development. There is actually a 150% biasing factor in HAWX 2. AMD sent an email to every major review site requesting that this game be eliminated from test suites as it was unrepresentative of real world performance - it deliberately includes an inflated number of polygons that only the Fermi architecture, not Radeons (or older geforces for that matter) can handle.
4: ATI do sometimes make performance-drop drivers designed for stability increases. There have been several of those in recent months. When a site tests with the odd good release [i.e. the ones that everybody use] you usually see ATI earn a few more points.
