Couldn't tell 'ya guy; my Dad was the farmer, not me. Don't think he's lied though as I'd heard the same from others his age. All I can say is that they didn't burn it...the kept the plants alive and well and would simply strike at the leaves and the odor (or whatever) kept the bugs away. I don't know what else to tell you...remember though, there were no such thing as "insecticides" when he was young...poisoning food and soil was the idea of a later generation. Well, anyway, that's what he said.
Well, Cheers to WHOEVER discovered the plant that makes you guys happy... LOL I havent smoked a joint in about 7 years. (Drug testin at work) Plus I have kids now... Oh and I want to thank my wife for giving me 2 of the most beautiful children in the world.
