TUT!HOW to FTP and BACKUP XBOX GAMES - With Crossover Cable

    um no you can't...it wouldn't work, and when you think about it, that would defeat the purpose of a crossover cable...LOL look:
    a crossover cable is a cable used to directly connect 2 computers(1 ur PC, one ur xbox) together to transfer data, files ect. without hubs or routers. so it would defeat the purpose of the cable.

    what you do is, connect your xbox from the ethernet port on ur xbox, to the ethernet port on your computer. NOT through the router.

    do you mean connect it directly into the back of my PC tower, not using my router or modem?

    The ethernet port on the back of your computer like were you put your modem or router

    theres only 1, does that mean disconnect my PC from the internet?

    when i connect it to the back of my PC, it said lacal are connection limeted or no connection, does that mean my cable is bad?

    no sir. that means that you did not change the settings like i said in my tut. -.-

    your IP settings have to be configured on the xbox and on your computer for when you want to FTP. refer to my tut.

    it finally connected!, but when the files load on flashfxp, my PC, drive D, A, ect... the are all empty and contain no files, and when i put the xbox game in after having ftp'd, the game autostarts?????

    please help!

    I believe you hold down the L trigger to make the game not auto start, agian read the tut please

    i did all the steps on the tut... burnt all the files with qwix, the burnt with dvd dycripter, iso, write. The i put it in my evoX xbox and it said Unknown... WHAT DID I DO WRONG????????

    You have a mod chip, I didnt know maybe that is what the problem is
