    Hi, i'm new here!
First I want to thank you for this great tutorial! (which is now almost 2 years old...)

    But I have a problem
I've set all things, like drivers, and all the settings in the ASUS Wlan card settings program.

All the connections work fine, I have the ability to browse the internet, and playing games online.

However, if I try to use homebrew applications, like DSamp and SvSIP, I can not connect to the wifi USB connector. These application say that the connection failed...

Does anyone know a solution for this problem??
    Thanks in advance

(i'm sorry if this is a question someone else already asked, i've searched several pages of this topic but did not find any solution...)

Edit: I have a LAN connection to a router, when I try to enable "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's connection" (in the settings of the Wi-fi USB dongle), I lose connectivity of the LAN connection. Then the USB dongle is shared, but I don't have internet on my computer at all (and the LAN connection says it is still connected). When I try to share my LAN connection, I have internet again, and I am able to play games online on the DS. But how do I connect with homebrew..??

    ****FIXED****
I've already fixed the problem :)
    The solution:
If you go to Config in the ASUS program, and you see "Networkd authentication" is turned on "Shared", then turn it to "Open"!!!

I'm sorry if my reply is coming out of the blue here, but I followed all the steps to this guide and tested the connection with my Nintendo DS, and it all works out. However I can't figure out how to connect my laptop to it all. I've searched around but the creator of this thread PM'ed the answer to that question to people so I'm lost now :/ Any help?

make sure the NWCUSBAP is set to visible, then on your laptop go to my network places, then on the side click on set up a wireless network. Then just follow the instructions

Does anybody know the range on this USB connector when used as a SoftAP? I want to use it for my laptop and just wondered if I would be able to use it all over the house.

    Thanks

When i enable the WiFi, my normal PC internet stops or slows? down to a stop; and comes right back when i disable the WiFi. how come i can't use both at once?

I think i saw someone have the same problem i just cant find it in the 40 pages heh.

    Hiya all
I know this guide/help is specific to the 'Nintendo Wifi USB Connector'
(presuming thats a specific adapter) can this guide also apply to the EDUP Wireless USB Adapter ?

I would think the drivers probably wouldn't be compatible but I do have the EDUP installed so it's just the software part that I need to get sorted.
Im tryng to use this EDUP adapter as an AP for my PSP

    Taz
