unlock nokia 6680

    they will not allow that here..
    and even if they did, i am not willing to pay over $200AUS.
    come on guys be reasonable. think of some better solution, or just leave it to the experts. actually i suggest we all work on this together..

    I don't think you have no other options to you at the moment, believe me if their were another way, we would know of it by now. If you are clued up on reverse engineering, then you can have a go at cracking the codes and making your own code generator, it would be worth a bit, think how many people are waiting to unlock their 6630/6680. I posted a link to a site on another thread that is advertising an unlock for the 6680, you have to send your fone into them, but I don't indorse them in any way and I would not myself. Read other 6680 related threads on this forum for the link.Apart from that, its SP only.

    P.S. just found the link again, like I say, be careful.If they can, they must have paid serious money for the software. So £50.00 is cheap.

    Could you please advise how to unlock my phone.
    Its a Nokia 6680 and was on Orange network.

    i suppose i can say i got good news for myself.
    i finally got into contact with the phone dealer that said he can give my phone to somebody else who thinks they can unlock my phone. well the good news is he said he's given the phone to somebody who says they know how to get this phone unlocked. some Iraqy guy, but he doesnt know how hes goin to do it. i will try my best to find out for you guys. my phone is gonna arrive in 2 days and hopefully the unlocking is done succesfully.
    i'll keep youse updated on what happens.

    and besides, we can update one another on progress.

    Perhaps that how the boys at the link I put up are doing it, They do say on their site that they have to open up the fone.

    I second that, we can still discuss the facts, even if the solution is not an unlock code. I just wish people would stop, just leaving all the details of their fone without reading the all the threads.Assuming its a simple fix.

    yes that is true,
    those of who just repeatedly tell us that you need your 6680 unlocked, and dump your EMEI and other details are not really helping.
    try what i did atleast.. read every post of this thread and try to gain some knowledge of what the guys, psxnut, B0ba, troman 12, and all the other memebers have been through working with this problems.
    and then bare with us until the end, so that we can help you too.
