Using Action Replay Codes on your R4/M3 Simply

i finally got it working! (woo hoo!) BUT (yes there is a but!),BUT i dont have coodes for all my games here is a list of the games i have...(in red are the ones with codes!)

animal crossing wild world
luminos ark
spore creatures
super mario 64
the ledgend of zelda phantom hourglass
metroid prime hunters
rayman raving rabbid
raymand raving rabbids 2
puzzle quest
tetris
elite beat agents
mario kart ds
42 all time classics
mario and sonic at the olimpic games

pls i get the white screen on animal crossing
so please help!!!

put the firmware in the "system" folder next to the "themes" folder

 

i dont understand this: 1. Under Subscriptions right click Codejunkies US Games and select copy if you want all or just do this for games you want. Plz, where is codejunkies?

 

i cnat use the codes for all my games i have at least 25 but it only works for four!!!
plus on animal crossinng it doesnt load when i use cheats it oly goes white! please help!!!!

 

I have an R4, and I got a usrcheat.dat file from another person with a bunch of codes on it, yet the only game that shows up with codes available is The World Ends With You. What's going on?

 

this only works if you have nintendo wi-fi

for all thoughs out there that are struggeling with the lack of codes or the animal crossing whit screen thing... follow these instructions

1 download the "usrcheatup" application from this website

2 open it up and move the .nds file to you R4/m3 ect..

3 turn on your ds and go on usrcheatup the wait for it to finish updateing your usrcheat.dat

not only does this update your codes so you can use them for more games,it sorts out the animal crossing white screen thing aswell!

Umm, I have the R4 SDHC card, the one with the ver 1.21 firmware. How can I input the code that I want?. I've followed the step-by-step guidance in this topic, but still no luck and I don't think it's because of the firmware cuz some of the game already have cheatlist on them(which I think was inputed in CHEAT.dat file).

When I go to C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\local_codelists

The folder isn't there

Have you downloaded anything using AR's code manager?

 

i try to get cheats for super mario 64 ds but it won't show the y button cheat thing. it worked for the other games i got.

 

It works fine for me. i am using m3 simply.

For whom it does not work, please check the following...

1)check that the cheat downloaded is for the same version of the game, meaning, european or usa or jap.

2)when you save cheat file give the full name "usrcheat.dat" and not just "usrcheat".

it will work for sure if you have the latest firmware for m3 or r4, and install usrcheat.dat in system folder of the card.

Where is the code editor

 

can someone help me coz i put in the codes from here
and put it in the cheat code editor v1.01 and when i put it in mine system file i am able to click the {y} button and go in the cheat code place but i cant seem to enable or disable it anyone can help me???

 

Umm, I'm using a Mac OS X Leopard. I can't seem to open any of the files, is there a mac version for this?

might help you if your card is first generation.

just look in to the folder where you installed your code manager.
it may be in some other location.
else why dont give "find" option on your computer a work out.
it will find the file

I can't paste. If I copy, I click and click and click but nothing happents..

**SOLUTION TO 'LOAD FAILED' PROBLEM**
I have a solution to this problem. It seems that there are additional files that are necessary for the Setup to happen. There are files on the Action Replay CD called msxml.msi, usbio.sys, and an update to the windows installer. Anyway, the following link should fix what you need. Just extract to a folder, and run setup.

Besides this, I have a problem. It seems none of the codes I get work with my Chrono Trigger game. It's a bit frustrating. Any help would be appreciated!!
