Using Action Replay Codes on your R4/M3 Simply

I have done everything but when i put the Action Replay card in and it says "place game card in". As soon as i do that it just goes blank and turns itself off? :s

Hey i had the same problem so i just copied and pasted it and it looked ok for me!

 

does the cheats update themselves?

 

okay i found it does... but when i try savin the cheat database in cheat editor, it keeps saying open not save!

 

the action replay program keeps searching for an action replay card!!

How do i get codes for my ds and please don't use technical terms i'm not that good.

You need to rename it .DAT yourself. It doesn't do it automatically

Hi, I did everything accordingly but when I fire up my R4 all i get is the loading screen permenantly. Any ideas why?

 

Now when I load it all I get is a white screen on top and bottom and the top screen says:" Menu?" No Idea. On my sdcard I have the "_system_" folder, the "moonshl2" folder, the "_DS_MENU.DAT" file, the "DS_MOONSHL.NDS" file, the "MoonShell.nds" file, and the r4iUp.nds" file. Is something missing or wrong? How do I group them?

 

we need to own an action replay for this right?

Well I'm having a problem, and I've spent about a week scanning through google...

I'm using the m3 Simply (not a fake), using the latest version I can find (v1.14) and cheat codes won't appear for some unknown reason. I couldn't find many people with the same problem, and the few I did find did not come with a solution (unfortunately).

I've checked over the games many times, I've made sure that the codes are for the correct game, I've tried different download links of the same rom (different sites), but for some reason the (Y) Cheats button will only appear for a few of my games. For example, the cheat button will work perfectly fine for Izuna, however it won't appear for Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.

If anybody has a solution, this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

 

hey when i open up the cheat code thing i type in all the stuff for a poke mon cheat after going through all of the stuff the manual says but i cant save it when i go to choose the place to save it it only says open folder not save. what do i need 2 do?

 

i dont understand. im using a r4 ive download the stuff but it says to save the usrcheat.dat file but where do u save it to be able to use the cheats for the game?

 

Whenever I try to Import the XML File, It says
"the xml file format is error"
