Using Action Replay Codes on your R4/M3 Simply

I have a problem with my Saga 2 Hirou Densetu. I found some codes and they were working perfectly fine until i decided to try to open a SAV and DAT files with notepad, i found a way to undo the DAT files, but the SAV files are still under notepad as the default program to open it with. And i think its affecting my ability to use them. Because when i try to use the codes in the cheat window of the game, it wont save. Itll flash a saving window and close, and then i can never use the cheats. Its really annoying! Can someone help me?

 

Oh the SAV files are perfectly loadable, its just the cheat codes wont save, thats my problem

Another update, i got rid of the notepad association with my SAV files, but my cheats still wont work, they wont save at all, and its starting to piss me off. I dont know why it wont work. I set it back to the way i remembered it, before i was stupid and opened things up with notepad, but they wont work anymore! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

 

im trying to do this on my R4 and i am having some problems, i have got to Find the XML, it should say something along the lines of customcodelist.xml , but i dont know what to do from there.

a more detailed and step by step instructions will help tremendously

hey i was using the pokemon platinum europe version wild pokemon cheat, but not all the pokemons are displayed, it goes to hitmontop and not further, any idea on how to resolve this?

Hi i followed the instuctions 100% and i put onto my r4 and it boots up fine but i choose my game (call of duty modern warfare mobilized) and click y for chaets and it says "no cheats found" even though i put the codes on my r4 in the system file any1 help??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????i have the newest update cause i accidently updated my dsi =[. i have r4 ds ultra (the 1 for dsi)

My M3 ds simply is saying the hardware is not compatible... HELPP ! i really need this ?

 

i have a r4,then i try to update it,i update it with this way:i delete the "_SYSTEM_",and "_MOONSHL_"folder,then i changed it with the 1.18 version.then i follow the guide ,copy the three subscriptions to the custom codelist,but in the "nintendo ds" part of action replay code manager,its written"waiting for ds".then i open the cheat code editor v1.00,then i click"import the XML file",and i chooses three xml file,they're codejunkies us games,codejunkies eu games,and ds-par jp games.i save it and named it "usrcheat.dat".oh yeah,when i import the ds-par jp games,its written"the xml file format error!".and when i see the usrcheat.dat,the file icon is video,i copy it and i paste in "_system_" folder in my micro sd card.and when i turned on the ds,its ok,but when loading,its not finish and only show loading.what must i do?or don't delete the first two folder?

Im having problems with the stupidest little glitch please help before I throw my laptop out of the window

Im in the code editor, ive imported my file no problem then i click file save as and it wants me to open instead of save?! wtf I tried clicking file open to see if the two options had become reveresed but that too says open. Im really stuck is there any other way i can save this file, I have a mixture of (E) and (U) roms so no preset file will help me unfortunatly

Hi, I just tried this, but when I use the Cheat Code Editor and try to import the XML file, it says "The XML file format is error". What should I do? The list works fine with the Action Replay program, and it also works with my Action Replay (I have one). After this message shows up, it only adds the codes for the first 20 or so games.

To the people who can't find the Local Codelist: for me, it's in Documents\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\local_codelists. Hope I helped!
