Using Action Replay Codes on your R4/M3 Simply

hey can some 1 please help im desperately in need of some help my code manager doesnt find my DS when its connected i downloaded the code manager here on this forum im using an AR max and i need some help the reason i bought and AR is so i can use pokesav but my code manager doesnt read my ds i also dont know why i cant open the code editor file its so confusing some 1 please help me it says it needs to find the prog. that crated it does any 1 know what that would be?

 

PLEAS SOME ONE HELP ME

 

have read your guide but can't get the AR codes.when i download the AR code thing under subscriptions it says load failed so i can't copy and paste any codes.

any help would be great.

 

Can someone that has a working one PLZ post their R4 folder or just write your folder layout

heres a link to a .dat file with cheats just put it in your system folder.it works i have it on mine.

 

I posted this before, no one answered. I have a Chinese R4, and I also cannot get this to work, but in a different way.

I followed all the instructions EXACTLY, but NONE of my games have cheats. There is no Y button. I have 1.11 installed.

Anybody gotten this to work on a Chinese R4?

 

Nevermind, I figured it out.

To people who had the problem of not being able to cheat because you have a Chinese R4:

You need the English kernel, which won't work unless you patch it.

and the patch can be found at

Just put the patch in the root folder where your _DS_MENU.DAT is.

 

when i open the code editor, i click file and i cant find Import XML file anywhere.

 

If someone could help me i would be very grateful. I followed the guide but then it said open the cheat editor, and seen as it is a RAR file i dont know if i downloaded the wrong thing or if im not doing something correctly. If someone could please help me i would be very grateful.

I have an R4 and I followed the instructions, and when I turn on cheats for Animal crossing: Wild world and try to play the game, both screens turn white and nothing happens! What should I do?

 

Hi i have the full action replay ds kit so i have the program already and i have r4 v1.10 i did what it said but on my micro SD all the games i downloaded are all together there are no other folders so with the cheat file i made where do i put it on my micro SD? i just put it with every thing else i downloaded to my micro SD. Also where do i find it i could be on there i dont know.

Me too i just put 1 cheat than when i press Animal Crossing all blank.Can anyone help???

 

what did i do wrong if i dont even see the Cheat Y? i had it before when they had a preset load of cheats, so i tried adding my own, i deleted the CHEAT DAt file and added urscheat.dat in, and now i couldnt see it, tried renaming it to CHEAT, i still couldnt see it( the Cheat Y) i can play everything normally, except that, can someone help me?

how do i use the firmware update? i am very confused by everything that needs to be done. all i wanna do is just be able to put on some pokemon hacks to get ones from other versions that i dont have, dont have the money for and dont have any other way of getting. if someone would please email me more specific directions on this WHOLE thing, that would be extremely helpful. email addy is kurogane.dono@gmail.com

 

okay uhm i have an r4
i did everything that was told. and when i turn on my r4 it pops up with a sentence with chinese letters and !!! as the title. even when i take off the cheats it does that too. its really fustrating me. is it the firmwire? i even updated it ionno whats wrong. someone help me plz!

 

i just notice that everything works fine on the 1.8 firmwire for my ds but the _DS_MENU on the 1.8 doesnt let me go to the menu. its just has a chinese caution sign that pops up when i turn my ds on. it wont let me do nothign from there. and when i just put in my old _DS_MENU it doesnt let me use the cheats. well i just dont see the y cheat thingy that everyone does. PLZ HELP ME!!

I followed your guide and i installed everything correctly. I have a m3 ds simply and i have the latest 1.07 FW. I dlded the code editor and manager. I imported the xml file and saved it as usrcheat.dat. I copied that file and pasted it onto _systems_ folder in my micro disc. I start up my NDS lite and go into my games file. I click down to the game i want (e.g. Pokemon Diamond) and I don't see no "Y" cheat button on the bottom screen. The only option i have on the bottom screen is to start the game. Do i have to extract the code manager and code editor onto the micro disc as well? if so which file? thank you.
