    Yes. Keep the buttons visible all the time as small Icons like many websites. right after the Log-In Boxes And they will be gone after they / we, Log-In.

    Aye.. well it seems to work fine, except for the birthday thing, so I left that default (it's younger than me anyhow *grins*)

    Reminds me of the "test" forum from a good few years back. Interesting choice seeing as mine is still on phpbb2 !!!

    Sure, it can't hurt anything - except their wallet..;) && just btw., "my" this-and-that sounds a little like showing off. && MY OC 2133 RAM kills yours, so. ;-P ;-D

    P.S.
    On paper AMD and Intel seem close.. but, in the box: it's nothing like it had been years ago - AMD can't really compare to Intel in performance. (from what I've seen :))

    pfffftttt.. territorial pissin :D .. Don't care about vast sums of money to play pointless games.. so.. P3 800MHz and 256MB's of pc133 ram plus a 16Mb grafix card of some brand.. not nvidia.. some old ATI rage series..

    my pc in 2006 was p3 pretty sure it was 1000mhz overclocked to 1250,256mb graphics card and 4 sticks of 256mb ram.I got offered the pc over a debt owed to me and upgraded the ram & cpu. gta 3, medal of honor war chest (4 games) use to run great on it plus emulation.

    With the new XenForo v1.4 release approaching, I thought I'd share some of the upcoming features here as well.

    First of all the profile posts, which aren't currently used that much, can be brought up more prominently. Here's a video showing that (you can skip past the first part that introduces help page customizations):


    The next change is the ability to edit polls once they have been submitted. This feature has been requested for quite a while, and is a welcomed fix. More on it here: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/poll-improvements.77968/

    User levels have been discussed quite a bit here, and at the XenForo forums. The new version brings an option to change the user title ladder from points based (as it is now) to message count based (as it used to be). More on that, and other improvements here: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/miscellaneous-improvements.78446/

    It might be that we'll still maintain the points ladder, and just introduce a custom user group for the former Addicts group. The jury is still out on that one. =)

    I also thought the online status indicator on messages was a nice addition:
    xenforo_online_status.
    You can see the little green button at the top right corner of the avatar. Could be handy at times!

    The text size is great
    Could you add a light color to the title frames
    That would help to separate the boards

    Edited the text case because all caps hurt my eyes. =)

    IMO the groups can already be made out clearly from the current list. The font is black and there's a slight background color to them as well. The forum rooms have a speech bubble in front of them that set them apart from the headings.

    Or am I missing your point?

    Yes you are, your back ground color in the title frame is too light.
    It looks white to me.

    MAKING IT DARKER WILL HELP THE HARD TO SEE TO FIND THE BOARD HE WANTS.
    LOOK AT THE PICTURE

    I tried setting a darker background to the "Category strip". How's that? Looks a bit too dark now for me.
