I couldn't agree more, vocalised music is often to my detriment when working, but ambient or instrumental tracks can get me through the most arduous of reports and revision no trouble! Besides, FEAR was a great game, and the soundtrack was part of the reason why.

i'm quite the opposite, a bit like the alleged doctors on Casualty and Holby City on TV (ie they play music in the operating theatre). I do my best work when the noisiest heaviest music is on my headphones, nothing like a couple hundred people not being able to work until you work some magic with the company servers (with loud music helping the troubleshooting process) :)

Hehe, fair enough. Not often I have to do work on servers (only my Multimedia server which I haven't used for a while) but I had some heavy stuff on when I was playing with that.

Indeed, i have vivid memories of those days, driving my BMW 535i Sport at silly speeds to and from (shift) work in the summer with all the windows down with the 6speaker system blasting trance tunes.

*shops you to the local filth*

it's never too late to pay for your crimes.. like driving 60mph over the speed limit.. in fact, didn't it used to be 70mph? in which case, you were doing double the speed limit. expect a knock at the door.. i know where you live! :-D ;-)

    hehe i know..

something i just posted on a speed camera thread --->

Here's the rub... here's a picture of the UK and yet we have countless 1000's of speed cameras of varying types of hostility, there's more cameras than cars..

edit- "Britain's roads are now covered by a network of some 6,000 speed cameras both fixed and mobile"

    Unbelievable!

    http://www.speedcamerasuk.com/speed-camera-types.htm

..and back to what i'm listening to, Emmerdale, on the TV as it's TV time now..
