WTF are you on buddy, max SPL from the 5500 is 115db, read audio forums please before you speak, and 500AUD in america is 355$, thats same cost as Promedia ultras without tax.

And being THX approved means nothing really, a company asks THX to "approve" a product of theres, pays a large sum, and its approved. And a inpreamp digital decoder does nothing when you have a better soundcard in your computer.

@ rubixcube, for a sub that size, thats not much, i got some logitech speakers with those near specs, brand new, and they were only 50 bucks, and i dont think SeanZ0r should dis logitech like that, logitech is a great brand and there speakers are great, maybe not as good as klipsch, but not "Logicrap"

That explains your attitude. Kinda like the Benz owners that lift their noses at anything that isn't German.

personally I don't give a crap about my speakers..... yes they play nice..... 500 watts is great..... I have Logitec too .... as a matter of fact I had computers since 1989 and I bought this one cause my old one crapped out with the DVDs! I got 33% off of my order from Dell, and it was a great buy! So much so that my brother went out and bought the same system as mine, but he couldn't get the 3.73Ghz and 1066 FSB! he only got the 3.60Ghz with the 800FSB..... so I tease him on that! LOL Got to be a little different! ;-)

    Just ordered:

    MSI K8N NEO4 Platinum nForce4 Ultra 939

    A64 X2 4200+ Manchester

    eVGA 6800GS 256 MB/256 bit,

2x512 Mushkin CAS 2 DDR400 (best RAM on the planet)

My P4 3.06/DDR266/Radeon 9800 Pro aren't cutting it for me anymore. When I built that system it was hot stuff - first HyperThreading CPU, one of the first dual channel DDR boards but that was centuries ago. Hope the new one runs well.....................................
