I have 3 computers. My baby, the one I am on, is tha Green Hornet. It's a: AMD Athlon 3000XP (2.1 ghz) on an ASUS mobo 1 gb RAM 200gb HD (XP Pro) 128mb Video Card WinTV card DVD-R (4x) CD-R Zip 100 My second is: HP Pavillion laptop 700mhz Celeron 128mb RAM 20gb HD (XP Pro) TV/Video Out DVD-ROM My third is: G3 PowerMac PC 233mhz 10gb HD 256mb RAM That's it ... I also have my tricked out PS2, an Xbox and a PSP. I have very little to play with any of them.
Yeah I don't think I could explain that $7000 to the wife... Could I??? No I don't think so besides I like to ride my motorcycle to much and I would have to sell that to be able to afford a system like that, and then it wouldn't even preform that much better than what I already have anyway..
bbmayo, remember the claymores & bouncing bettys!!! also my walls are double copper cladded so are spy proof & the windows are ultrasonically vibrated to prevent laser beams & boom mikes from eavesdropping!!!
ddp, All that and I can still see you with the chip I placed in your computer monitor!! Also my high tech dixie cup's on a string allow me hear everything as well... LOL Yeah them damn bouncing Betty's got me once, but never again.. LOL
bbmayo, your chip doesn't work as it was fried by the sun & anything you were/are getting is dis-information. your string dixie cup is getting no info but is getting vibrated for free!!!
We have several but my favorite is; Toshiba P25 S509 Laptop P4 2.8 GHz XP Pro 1 gig Ram 17 in. WXGA 80 Gig HD DVD-RAM/DVD-R/CD-RW Not the fastest but the most versatile that we own. Now if I could just learn how to stop making coasters...
in sig. i have dual Dell 24" widescreen monitors setup so i can see you guys in a widescreen perspective from both sides ~ neph u do mods to ur ride? i used to be into the import racing scene before my car got jacked~ i perhaps could offer some assistance if you need parts for your truck~
That's a hell of a setup kivory. Been meaning to compliment you on it If you know a good source for upgrades for my truck I'm all ears. I've a '96 Dodge Dakota 3.9l V6 and she's been my baby since the day I bought her new. I've always taken care of her and she's in spectacular shape especially for being nine years old. I've gotten my money's worth out the stock parts so I've been upgrading to higher quality parts as they wear out. In about a week my buddy and I are putting in a new clutch, an Optima Red Top closed cell battery and some very nice machined brass battery terminals since the factory ones have been mangled over the years. I don't do much for the exterior because the more stock she looks the less chance she'll catch a thief's eyes. I prefer performance over "bling"
1) Junk yard 2) Trade it in for a chevy silverado. 3) Drive it up here to ohio and literally watch it rust away before your very eyes. 4) If it doesn't rust right away,we can put it in lake erie for another man made reef. 5) Sell it to al bundy, He like dodge's LMAO, Just kidding neph. How many miles you got on her? Good Luck on your truck! Chevy Rules!
Saugman even though you are a Buckeye fan I have to agree with you on the Silverado thing (seeing how thats what I drive) Dang!! I hate to agree with you LOL
LOL We can place neph's dodge on top of all the bleachers from the cleveland brown's old stadium bleachers that are sitting at the bottom of lake erie. However, the stench may kill off all the walleye in the lake!

I'm a Dodge fan first and foremost, then Ford trails way behind, then Chevy brings up a distant last. Not that I thinks Chevy's are bad vehicles but with the exception of the Corvette they just don't do much for me She has a little over 66,000 on her which isn't bad at all for a nine year old vehicle and I'll be driving her till I have to trade her in for a walker. She's been paid off for five years, insurance is cheap, parts are cheap, she's a breeze to work on and she's she's been rock solid reliable - all I've had to fix so far are normal wear items. Plus I love driving her

I sure like the prices today a whole lot better... for a whole lot more!!! <G>
I would first need to see what advantages are truly offered by any changes to anything nowadays. I went with the 3.4 Northwood because it was the last chip that could easily be over clocked if needed without running "ice water" to cool the chip down such as the new Prescott's that run 50+ c at idle. If I wanted I could easily clock my Northwood 3.4 to over the 4 GHz mark but 3.74 is only a 10% over clock which is mild and easy on the chip. All my machines other then the laptop were from my wanting to upgrade my PC's, etc. The 2.8 CPU was on my ASUS P4P800 Deluxe before I upgraded to the 3.4 CPU. The SOYO MB was a deal I got on Newegg for actually nothing but the $5 shipping after I got my rebates on it, (which took over 6 months.), etc. Again I like speed so I really need to see what will be said about all the changes that are coming our way soon.
Come on neph, Fords are the worst, LOL I had over 212,000 miles on my 89 s-10 with the 2.5 liter. The original battery lasted over 10 years. It started to nickel and dime me after 180,000. The only thing I replaced was radiator,waterpump,belt-besides the normal 5 sets of tires,4 exhausts, and 2 sets of brakes. A very reliable truck, but the ohio salt took care of sheet metal, solid rust! ,LOL Here's the specs on my Backup Pc: Ibm Flat tower Intel Celeron 598 mhz Window xp home, sp-1 Benq 1620,firmware version B7-L9 256 mbs of Rimm 8 gig hard drive ? name 30 gig hard drive- ?name Video card? 15" humungous monitor-HP Lexmark z-25 printer 2 usb ports, yeehaw 1 IBM floppy Mouse and keyboard with wires!!!!!!! It's a clusterf**k, but it burns sweet, but slow. Very reliable compared to this piece of sh*t main pc of mine! 9 and a half hours just to encode the full backup of Meet the Fockers with shrinks max smoothness enhancement. Last time I try that again, LOL
Hee hee. You need to move to Phoenix where car bodies last forever although you're lucky to get a battery to last three. Our heat kills batteries like you wouldn't believe. I forgot to mention that my PC has a custom made SATA 3.5" floppy that I made myself
