Well then there's really no difference. CRT monitors are a bit smaller though and not widescreen *drool* @_@ High res widescreen is the way to be. So much more detail
Not quite what I meant. I just mean to say that the IQ difference between a CRT at high res and an LCD at a similar res are very small. Quality LCDs can match CRTs in IQ. Mine does.
I guess that's the beauty of S-IPS then. The image quality on my LCD is leaps and bounds ahead of both the CRTs I owned, and one of them was meant to be very good.
I had planed on getting a 30" HP which has the same panel as Sam's monitor. Alas, that fell though. At least I sold like 10 of them.
I have no such problems with my screen. Beautiful IQ and color. Black blacks and white whites. The best monitor I've ever owned by far. And yes an UltraSharp. The TrueColors are decent, but the UltraSharps are top end quality.
