Yes we are off topic. I was responding to the above quoted statement made by you which is completely wrong. There are several different companies (more than two dozen) that own separate Mp4 patents. So why is it so hard to accept that there are also freely developed containers such as Matroska that are not patented and perfectly legal to use? The disagreement by you was over freeware burning software which doesn't even use Mp4, so why would they need a license? And yes they are just as good if not better than Nero.
That's a good choice. I use it as well alongside AnyBurn and BurnAware which proved useful for burning M-Disc.
