@aabbccdd,No unfortunately the previous owner trashed the original 440 and opted for a 383 replacement. It was still plenty quick though, especially after I had the heads re-done and swapped out the cam, intake and carbs.Used to run low 12's in the 1/4 mile with a little blast of NOS.

catfreak, take it easy man.. think it was meant as a facetious remark, nothing else :) (Nice car, BTW)

jazo, if it was meant in a joking manner, make sure that is clear, as speech can easily be taken the wrong way in pure text.

    my dream car~? the [bold]Lamborghini Murcielago[/bold]..

I have plenty of options to do if I choose to! But, I just want to keep it stock and let it hybernate in my garage. I work with my trucks so I only get minimum milage on my cars so this one will stay cherry! I'm going to see how many years I will keep this one going.... and then sell for the same price for a cherry 2006 Mustang! It's sooooooo prime!

    1969 Z-28 Camaro
    1969 Boss 302 Mustang
both very nice old classic muscle cars
that pale in comparison to the
monster called the 1969 Boss 429 Mustang

but if I had unlimited funds I'd purchase a
Ford GT .. If it's good enough for Bill Ford, well

I do love my Viper, though it's for sale right now
