I like your setup Neph, but I don't understand why so many people like to have their towers on their desk? They're meant to be on the floor and they take up so much space on the desk! But to each his own I guess...

I'm absolutely frickin' dying with laughter right now Mayo!!!!!!!! Beatiful job you did!!! LMAO!

I can't speak for others but mines on the desk because Phoenix is dusty as hell, the dust and Chihuahua hair like to collect on the floor and consequently get sucked into the pc case in mass quantities. If I use a good enough filter to keep the fine dust out my PC can't hardly breathe. Having it up on the desk also makes it much handier for the frequent cleanings it needs :)

    of course joshua.

thats why they make a nifty little gadget called a KVM switch, you can run multiple PC's with the same kb and mouse. and to be quite honest, i am very very good with a mouse in each hand controlling 2 machines and being quite productive. it comes down to what you want, some people are fine with 1 machine, others like myself prefer more.

it's not that i'm power hungry, i just tend to consume alot more power than most folks. which reminds me, did you know the power company wont run you a seperate circuit to your den even if you offer to pay for it all! i was pissed. I wanted my own meter and my own bill just for this room, but they wouldn't do it. something about some stupid code.

Tell them that the den is rented out and you need to monitor their power usage for recharging, then they have no choice ;) Which gets me thinking, how much power does an electricity meter use? and do you get charged for that too?

Yeah, tell 'em the den is rented out as a brothel, they need the power to operate the red light & dancing go-go girl neon.
