I like your setup Neph, but I don't understand why so many people like to have their towers on their desk? They're meant to be on the floor and they take up so much space on the desk! But to each his own I guess...
Here's my computer room. Still need a desk for one but at least the chair swivels @bbmayo - beautiful dog!
Well here are some of my little comp which pales in comparison to some of the ones on here but it does me just fine. Sorry if the file size is large it is late and insomnia strikes :-((
OK here are the real pictures of Neph and Flips setup just so you all know the truth I know Im gonna pay for that, but it was fun Thanks about my dog Binky we wuv her bunches
Thanks it does what i want it too and yup i do like abit boards along with gigabyte and msi and i do like me coolermaster syuff as well )
I'm absolutely frickin' dying with laughter right now Mayo!!!!!!!! Beatiful job you did!!! LMAO! I can't speak for others but mines on the desk because Phoenix is dusty as hell, the dust and Chihuahua hair like to collect on the floor and consequently get sucked into the pc case in mass quantities. If I use a good enough filter to keep the fine dust out my PC can't hardly breathe. Having it up on the desk also makes it much handier for the frequent cleanings it needs
of course joshua. thats why they make a nifty little gadget called a KVM switch, you can run multiple PC's with the same kb and mouse. and to be quite honest, i am very very good with a mouse in each hand controlling 2 machines and being quite productive. it comes down to what you want, some people are fine with 1 machine, others like myself prefer more.
Some nice set-up there fellas. This thread kicked off better than I expected. You may even have embarrased me into sorting our PC area out ..... maybe ......
it's not that i'm power hungry, i just tend to consume alot more power than most folks. which reminds me, did you know the power company wont run you a seperate circuit to your den even if you offer to pay for it all! i was pissed. I wanted my own meter and my own bill just for this room, but they wouldn't do it. something about some stupid code.
Tell them that the den is rented out and you need to monitor their power usage for recharging, then they have no choice Which gets me thinking, how much power does an electricity meter use? and do you get charged for that too?
Yeah, tell 'em the den is rented out as a brothel, they need the power to operate the red light & dancing go-go girl neon.
nice one Alien13 (and the other guys). my setup is taking it's toll on my knees, and sometimes my back. god only knows how i manage to sit there posting so long, it's quite uncomfy
Thanks. This was a good idea this thread. Everyone has there own little/big place which is equiped with there every need they all look cool
Thanks Alien13, I have my moments and, yeah some of these set-ups look cool. Putting mine to shame (I must make a start on that workbench)
