    how many slots do you have?
    You will need to check your bios and also may have to take this to some one who can visibly inspect it for you.You will need to make sure that your ram is compatible with the stuff you are putting in etc.

    Hello m8's, i'm apparently having the same problem as ozzymary. I have followed everything andmerr said, but i cannot defrag my hdd, regardless of what i do. It's weird, b/c everytime i try to defrag, i click on the defrag or anaylze tab, but nothing happens, it just stays at the same screen. And when i change the amount of memory the computer should use and restart the pc, it still loads as slow as before! This is soo messed up! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
