windows wont start

    windows has to be reloaded on top of self or do the repair option

    will that get rid of any of the software installed?

    might not get rid of the software but might have to reload the programs

    if u simply reinstall windows, all the data will be there, including all thats in program files, but the registry will be wiped, meaning nothing will appear installed. Don't backup your registry though, that defeats the point of reinstalling windows!
