Cookie187: I would check all connections in your xbox to see if they are snug, if that dont solve the problem then your harddrive is on its way out, so if you havent backed up your harddrive I would do so know, incase you have to replace it. What do you have a softmod or a mod chip in your xbox? I dont think power is an issue unless you have a big harddrive in it.

It does sound like your gonna end up getting a mod chip if your xbox dont stop flashing red and green. And mod-chips are relativly easy to install if they are solderless.

But if you dont feel like doing these things yourself you can pay someone to fix it.

 

my xbox doesnt have a number it just says xbox requires service muti languages flashes red and green

 

Thats what is called christmas lights, and by no means its christmas. Your xbox is fragging and that means the TSOP, is totally gone, the only fix now is a modchip.

 

Ok, this is what happened...from the beginning.
1. Installed Krayzies NDure 1.0 manually to the E drive.
2. Everything works as planned, and I look around.
3. I backup my eeprom first, like it says to.
4. This is where I messed up...i went to rescue disc thing...and then it showed me a list of all these kernels, which i didnt know what they were so i chose the last option: Generic. after loading for a few seconds it promped me with an box that told me what it did and then I pressed "A"
5. Now my xbox wont load splintercell, but will load other games.
6. When I boot xbox w/ splintercell i get Error code 21...I know what it means, but in my case, how do I come along fixing it? Thanks for any help and hope i was clear enough to understand, i know i can be unclear sometimes...

 

i have been getting error 05 on my xbox for about a year now.. i have been searching everywhere for the solution... everyone is the same but the problem that i have is my chip is always on, it doesn't have a toggle switch... is it possible that my chip is shot or could it be something else..

 

oh and the reason i haven't just taken it to someone to get it fixed is because i'm too cheap and i'm also determined to fix it myself.. ha ha..

did you read the original post? all you need to do is get a bootable disk that can unlock your hdd and thats its. you should be fine

 

I Have A Serious Prob With My Xbox And The Linux Program I Used I Installed "krazyie Tool" As The Host For Linux It Got On There And Then Win I Restarted It My Xbox Ms Dash Was Gone It Gave Me Error Code 13 And I Tryed 2 Reinstall With The Game For Evo X And Unlea X And Both Said Failed I Can Play Games But It Wont Show The Dashboard So Heres The Thing They Keep Tellin Me I Need Avalaunch And I Dont Know Where To Get It Let Alone Use It I Also Tryed To Update With Halo 2 And Other Live Games But It Goes Black When I Press Update So I Dont Know What To Do.....

 

do you have a soft mod??? if so have you tried using the reinstalling it??

 

yea i got it the krazyie tools 1 frm the action replay i tryed 2 reinstall them both an it said failed frm evo x 2 unles x.

 

ok have you tried to restore ur back up because most of the new sofmods wont let you reinstall if you have a back up

Hello All,

So...my led starts out solid green w/no audio/video/dvdrom response. When I press the eject button, the led flashes green 18-20 times. Is this just an indicator to a bad motherboard. If so, where's a good place to get a replacement? If not, what is it, and where's a good place to get whatever it needs?

BTW there are no mods on this system.

@ yung put in whatever game you used to softmod and there should be an option that says restore backup hit that and see if it helps

 

my xbox will only go to error 5 and wen i remove the HDD it goes to 07.....its basically a paper weight...can som1 help me? ill even pay u

i now have the 06 error, as b4 i had the 05 one. Is there a way to fix this w/o modding the xbox r using a boot disc? cause i have neither one
